Alissa is proof

I have no idea how I came across Alissa’s blog. Most likely thru some drunken 4am Internet surfing, but I am so glad I did. She and I are polar opposites visually, but I get an unbelievable amount of inspiration from looking at how she dresses herself.Alissa is proof that all you were taught about dressing as a plus size woman should be thrown out the window. moncler outlet Prints? Color? Sleeveless? DON’T MIND IF I DO.

Lauren’s blog is a dreamy mix of her own outfit posts and beautiful inspiration photos. She really has a great eye and knows how to manipulate mood and feeling with photos. The girl is a born editor.I love the ethereal stream of consciousness feeling that runs through her pages; it’s like being a fly on the wall of her mind. When she posts an outfit, she gives you the backstory of how she came to put it together plus a little glimpse of what’s going on in her life.

I learned this the hard way when I bought a dress from a retailer that was slightly too snug in the bodice, moncler down jackets sale and upon attempting to exchange it I was told that the policy was to return only and that I’d have to then repurchase.  This would not technically be a problem except that I wouldn’t be able to get the same coupon I had used on the dress before ($30 off) and would have to pay full price. If I had paid attention to the return policy before purchase, I might have weighed buying the dress more carefully.

L.A.-based blogger

The 27-year-old Italian, who now lives in Los Angeles, has the broadest reach of any individual fashion blogger on our list, with more than 3 million Instagram followers. She's a global star, as popular in Europe as she is in the U.S. What's more, links from her site drive traffic and conversions, according to many of the brands with whom she has partnered. cheap moncler on sale She was also recently named to an expert panel that will help determine the shortlist for 2015's LVMH Prize. Oh, and she graced the cover of Lucky magazine's February issue along with fellow bloggers Nicole Warne and Zanita Whittington.

Yet another L.A.-based blogger, Nguyen, 31, is best known for her YouTube channel, which currently boasts 600,000-plus subscribers. (Her 2011 video, "25 Ways to Tie a Scarf" has been viewed over 29 million times.) Nguyen's point of view is unique in that she grew up in the foster system, and has opened up about her experiences to her readers. Nikki's blog is really straightforward and full of flawless styling suggestions. I like that Nikki mixes photos of her own daily wardrobe in with pages that show styling options for how to wear current trendy items you may already own or be thinking of purchasing.

Continuing in our annual-ish tradition, today we're releasing our 2015 ranking of the most influential personal style bloggers in the world. This list looks wildly different than it did in 2013. Here's why. For one, we excluded every blogger who has expanded her empire to the point that the blog is no longer only about her. (Leandra Medine, cheap moncler jackets Garance Dore and Emily Weiss fall into this category.) We also chose to focus on those who write more about personal style than anything else. (That means leaving out lifestyle and photography bloggers.) We took more international bloggers into consideration, since the Internet is global and all. And we narrowed it down to blogs that cover womenswear more regularly than menswear.

Nikki blog

Seeing nothing but a blogger’s own self in an endless parade of similar outfits often tires me out. A lot of Nikki's posts are geared toward ideas of what to wear to specific events such as a bachelorette party, a wedding or a weekend at the county fair. moncler outlet I think a lot of people are stumped as to what's appropriate for various occasions, and Nikki does an immaculate job of giving clean, classic, interesting ideas. Her style reminds me of our own lovely Madeline's: colorful, snappy, spunky and polished!

Personal style bloggers sometimes get a bad rap -- caricatured as pretty, brainless girls who dress up for their camera-wielding boyfriends and post their results to a WordPress blog. But over the past decade, these independent publishers have become a real force in the fashion industry -- not just snapping up front row seats at fashion shows, but landing major campaigns and collaborations with brands, becoming regular guests on TV shows like "Today" and "America's Next Top Model," and turning their cheap moncler jackets blogs into multimillion-dollar businesses. Some have become household names.

Why couldn’t IFB have instead held up Stylish Curves as a perfect example of someone putting in the hard work and providing useful content? In their diatribe on why bloggers who don’t fit the classic “thin, white, pretty” mold don’t get the attention they deserve, they overlooked a golden opportunity to spotlight those who are in fact breaking said mold.

Airport travel OOTD + the best holiday weekend sales

Happy Sunday! Just landed in San Francisco, my home away from home, and am indulging in all of the amazing & diverse food this city offers. I posted this simple look on Instagram and wanted to quickly answer some fit questions on each piece. This tunic sweater is on double sale right now and runs true to size - it's the perfect length for covering up the crotch area, and I love that the sleeve length actually fits shorter arms! There is a small triangular piece of fabric lining the inside, behind the lace-up detail, which keeps your chest area completely covered up. You can cut this piece out if desired, as not much skin is bared even without it.

I wanted to get a second pair of Zella's awesome live-in leggings, and saw this new "midi" length with a 24.5" inseam. It hits right below the ankle for someone my height without alterations needed, and has the same flattering mid rise and reversible fabric as the original live-ins. Last but not least, I can't get enough of these chestnut suede ankle booties. If you have narrow ankles and hate the feeling of them swishing around in gaping ankle openings, these boots fit slim across the top and are very leg-flattering as a result. The fit is true to size - I'm usually between 5 and 5.5, and found a 5 to fit best with thin socks on.

Photographed fashion style in the world

Photographed at home by Annie Leibovitz, Obama wears pieces by Carolina Herrera and Atelier Versace, styled by Tonne Goodman. This is Obama's third time sitting as Vogue's cover star: her first issue debuted in March 2009, with her second in April 2013. In the accompanying interview, Obama speaks on her well-documented fashion choices from the last eight years — which were sometimes considered "risky" — saying: "It all boils down to comfort level: moncler outlet,  If I'm going to make you comfortable, then I have to be comfortable first. So my first reaction isn't 'Who made this?' But 'Let's try it on.

What does it look like? Oooh, that's cute. Oh, wow. I never thought of wearing something like this. Let's put a belt on it. I feel gooood in this.' There are definitely designers that I love, people I love to work with. And who they are as people matters. Are they good people? Do they treat their staff well? Do they treat my staff well? Are they young? Can I give them a boost? But! When all of that is equal ... is it cute?!"

In a statement to the Wall Street Journal's Sara Germano (which she shared on Twitter), New Balance reportedly is in support of Donald Trump's impending presidency. New Balance publicly supported the trade positions of Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump prior to election day that focused on American manufacturing job creation and we continue to support them today."
