Fundamentals of Bioinformatics and Searching is the self-paced bioinformatics overview online learning component of the Librarian’s Guide to NCBI.Veterans and their families need reliable health information resources and training to locate health information that is sensitive and pertinent to their needs. This interactive course will cover resources for finding information on general health conditions, mental health resources including those for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), family issues, substance abuse, amputations, support groups and more. moncler men Additionally, this class will prepare participants to find and assess other veterans’ health resources.
The class is a 3 week self-paced, asynchronous introduction to cultural competency, the unique health information needs of refugees and immigrants, and relevant health information resources. Participants who complete all activities are eligible for 4 MLA CE
This class will provide an introduction to developmental disabilities, tools to evaluate quality websites and learn about NLM resources to answer health related needs, caregiver information,cheap moncler jackets ideas for programming, as well as ways to provide awareness to the community regarding developmental disabilities. 1 MLA CE credit for attending the webinar only, 3 MLA CE credits for pre-class reading, webinar, and class exercises.
